Electrical Testing and Inspection

only covers testing up to the point of isolation of the equipment and is
normally carried out every five years.
Portable Appliance Testing
Appliance testing refers to the testing of Fixed and Portable equipment
and should be carried out annually.
Emergency Lighting (installation and testing)
Refix design and install emergency lighting systems and carry out regular
testing.

NICEIC Approved Contractor
Refix has been a member of the NICEIC Approved contractor scheme since
June 1993. Tony Staines is the approved qualifying manager and has over 25
years experience in the electrical industry. All of our electricians are
qualified to the City and Guilds I.E.E. 17th Edition Wiring Regulations 2382-20 and C&G 2391 Testing
and Inspection; in addition they are also qualified to C&G 2377 to carry
out Portable Appliance Testing. Refix is part of the NICEIC Domestic Installer
Scheme and is able to self-certificate electrical works to comply with Part
P of the Building Regulations.
